Laminated Veneer Lumber
Laminated veneer lumber (LVL) beams and headers, are factory controlled, manufactured and engineered wood beams that use veneer wood and glue to ensure the highest quality and strength in a wood product. LVL provide the consistant shape and sizes that match the engineer floor joist depths, offer better performance and longer spans.
Turkstra Lumber has a dedicated yard and design team to supply and design engineered wood beams for residential, commercial and multifamily projects. Turkstra Lumber is a proud distributing partner of Boise Cascade’s Versa-Lam which is the highest rated 3.0E LVL in the Hamilton (GTHA), Niagara, and Brantford area markets.

Rimboard
Engineered and manufactured rimboard is an OSB product designed to provide consistent performance to transfer vertical and horizontal loads through the structure. Resistant to shrinking, with added strength and dimensional stability, the rimboard offers performance builders can trust while speeding up install times.
Turkstra Lumber has a dedicated EWP yard in Stoney Creek, Ontario to supply Rimboard with all our EWP and Floor Truss solutions to the greater Hamilton, Niagara and Brantford markets.
